(WNY News Now) – Town of Ellicott, NY – A Falconer man has been charged with grand larceny following an alleged theft at a local grocery store.
Town of Ellicott Police charged William A. Karolyi, 42, of Falconer with Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree on March 13, 2025, at 11:21 AM. Officers responded to a larceny complaint at Tops Market in Falconer, where Karolyi is accused of stealing $1,228.20 worth of merchandise.
Karolyi was issued an appearance ticket and released. He is scheduled to appear in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to address the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
