(WNY News Now) – Harmony, NY – A Panama man was arrested for driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop on Route 474 in the Town of Harmony on Friday night.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped a vehicle at approximately 8:12 p.m. on March 21, 2025. The driver, identified as 45-year-old Charles A. Zellefrow, was found to be intoxicated following an investigation.
Zellefrow was taken into custody and charged with Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), DWI per se, and Speeding Over 55 MPH. He was processed and later released with an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to answer the charges in Harmony Town Court at a later date.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
