(WNY News Now) – A West Side woman was arrested late Sunday night for criminal mischief following a domestic dispute, according to Jamestown Police.

Jamestwon, N.Y. – On the evening of April 13, 2025, at approximately 11:32 p.m., officers from the third platoon responded to a residence on Jamestown’s west side following reports of a domestic incident. Upon arrival, officers conducted an investigation that revealed property damage had occurred during the dispute.

Sheri W. Hawkins, 53, was taken into custody at the scene. Police determined that she had damaged property during the course of the altercation. As a result, Hawkins was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, a misdemeanor offense.

Following her arrest, Hawkins was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where she is being held pending her arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
