(WNY News Now) – A Portville man was arrested Sunday morning after entering a Walmart store he had previously been banned from.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of 60-year-old Donald M. White of Portville, NY, for criminal trespass in the third degree following an incident on April 13, 2025.
Deputies responded to a call at approximately 10:14 a.m. after White was seen entering the Walmart located on Olean Portville Road. According to authorities, White had been formally trespassed from the property in 2024 and was not permitted to return.
White was taken into custody without incident. He was charged with one count of third-degree criminal trespass and released on an appearance ticket.
White is scheduled to appear in Portville Town Court at a later date to answer the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
