(WNY News Now) – A 33-year-old Ripley woman was arrested for felony DWI and multiple charges following a motor vehicle accident in the Town of Ellery on April 26, 2025.
Ellery, N.Y. – At approximately 4:04 a.m. on April 26, 2025, the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported motor vehicle accident in the Town of Ellery. Upon arrival, deputies identified the driver as Kira M. Flick, a 33-year-old resident of Ripley, NY.
Further investigation revealed that Flick was operating the vehicle while intoxicated. She was arrested and charged with Felony Driving While Intoxicated (DWI), Aggravated DWI (with a Blood Alcohol Concentration of .18 or higher), Unsafe Lane Change, and Consumption of Alcohol in a Motor Vehicle.
Flick was processed and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ellery Court to answer the charges at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
