(WNY News Now) – Shyron Campbell, 39, of Ellicott faces multiple charges after a domestic incident at an Ellicott hotel on May 2, Town of Ellicott Police reported.
Ellicott, N.Y. – On May 2 at approximately 8:05 p.m., Town of Ellicott Police responded to a domestic disturbance at a hotel within the town. Officers allege that Shyron Campbell grabbed a woman by the arm while she was holding a child, prompting charges including Harassment in the second degree, Criminal Contempt in the first degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Resisting Arrest.
According to the police report, Campbell resisted arrest when officers attempted to take him into custody at the scene. He was subsequently transported to Chautauqua County Jail for a centralized arraignment.
Campbell is scheduled to appear in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to address the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
