(WNY News Now) – On May 18, 2025, Robert C. Johnston, 33, of Kennedy, New York, was arrested by the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for allegedly violating an order of protection during a domestic incident.
The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office responded to a domestic incident on May 18, 2025, involving Robert C. Johnston, age 33, from Kennedy, NY. An investigation found that Johnston had made a threat in violation of an existing order of protection.
Johnston was located in Kennedy and taken into custody on charges of Criminal Contempt in the first degree and Aggravated Harassment in the second degree. Following his arrest, Johnston was arraigned and subsequently released on his own recognizance. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
