(WNY News Now) – Marcus A. Turner, 42, of Olean, was taken into custody early Sunday morning following a traffic stop in the Town of Great Valley, facing charges of DWAI Drugs and multiple traffic violations.

On May 18, 2025, at approximately 4:52 a.m., the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the Town of Great Valley that resulted in the arrest of Marcus A. Turner, age 42, from Olean, New York. Turner was charged with Driving While Ability Impaired (DWAI) by drugs, a first offense, along with several traffic violations.

Turner was transported to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office for processing. After completing booking procedures, he was released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Great Valley Town Court in July 2025 to address the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
