(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown resident was arrested Sunday afternoon following a reported domestic incident on the city’s north side.
Jamestown Police arrested 22-year-old Michael J. Connolly on Sunday, May 25, 2025, in connection with a domestic incident involving property damage and violation of an active Order of Protection.
At approximately 2:35 p.m., officers from the First Platoon responded to a call reporting a fight at a residence on the city’s north side. Upon arrival and further investigation, police determined that Connolly had allegedly damaged property within the home and had contact with a protected party in violation of a court-issued Order of Protection.
Connolly was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He is being charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree, and Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree.
He is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
