(WNY News Now) – A routine traffic stop in Perrysburg led to charges against a Fredonia man after deputies discovered his license had been suspended multiple times.
PERRYSBURG, NY — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office charged a 21-year-old Fredonia man with Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the Second Degree and Speeding in a Zone following a traffic stop on Route 39 on May 21, 2025.
Deputies initially stopped Damien R. Kendall for exceeding the posted speed limit. During the stop, a check of Kendall’s driving history revealed that his license had been suspended seven times. Authorities did not release details regarding the reasons for the prior suspensions.
Kendall was issued Uniform Traffic Tickets for both violations. He is scheduled to appear in Town of Perrysburg Court at a later date to answer the charges. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
