(WNY News Now) – A Pennsylvania man faces drunk driving charges after crashing into a utility pole in Cattaraugus County.
LITTLE VALLEY, N.Y. – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Shinglehouse, Pennsylvania man following a single-vehicle crash on Erie Street in Little Valley on May 21, 2025.
Deputies responded to the scene after reports of a vehicle striking a utility pole. The crash resulted in airbag deployment and left power lines hanging low across the roadway. Upon investigation, deputies observed signs of intoxication in the driver, identified as 73-year-old Gary Fink.
Fink was taken into custody and charged with Driving While Intoxicated under New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law 1192(3). He is scheduled to appear in Little Valley Town Court in mid-June to answer the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
