(WNY News Now) – Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported altercation on June 3 that led to the arrest of a Hanover woman for harassment.

HANOVER, NY – On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m., Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies were dispatched to a residence in the Town of Hanover following a report of a physical altercation.

Upon arrival and completion of an on-scene investigation, deputies determined that 41-year-old Michelle R. Julian of Hanover had allegedly struck another individual during the incident.

Julian was subsequently charged with Harassment in the Second Degree, a violation under New York State law. She was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in the Town of Hanover Court at a later date to answer the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
