(WNY News Now) – Jamestown Police arrested 22-year-old Jordan B. Dandridge of Buffalo on June 5 after a traffic stop led to the discovery of a firearm and crack cocaine with intent to sell.
On June 5, 2025, at approximately 4:32 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Second Platoon observed two males commit vehicle and traffic law infractions near West 8th Street and Cherry Street on Jamestown’s west side. Following the violations, officers initiated a street check on the subjects.
One subject, identified as 22-year-old Jordan B. Dandridge from Buffalo, initially refused to comply with officers’ commands to remove his hands from his pockets. For safety reasons, officers conducted a pat-down search, during which a revolver was found tucked in Dandridge’s waistband.
Subsequent to the arrest, a more thorough search revealed a quantity of crack cocaine and a large sum of cash on Dandridge’s person. The cash and drugs led officers to charge him with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the third degree with intent to sell, along with Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the second degree.
Dandridge was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
