(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY — On June 21, 2025, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Joshua T. Berg, 36, of Jamestown, was arrested on charges of third-degree criminal mischief and fourth-degree grand larceny after being found removing an air conditioner condenser from a local residence.

Officers responded to a burglary complaint near the intersection of Maple Street and Arnold Street. Upon arrival, they observed Berg pushing the air conditioner condenser down Arnold Street. Investigation confirmed that Berg had cut and removed the unit from a nearby home.

Berg was taken into custody without incident and is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
