(WNY News Now) – A 25-year-old Dunkirk man and a juvenile female were charged following a shoplifting incident at a local business on June 21.
DUNKIRK, N.Y. — On Saturday, June 21, 2025, at approximately 10:27 p.m., officers from the Dunkirk Police Department responded to a reported shoplifting incident at a business located on Lake Shore Drive West.
According to police, two individuals allegedly stole an undisclosed quantity of merchandise from the store before fleeing the scene. After conducting an investigation, authorities identified the suspects as Angel G. Ramos, 25, of Dunkirk, and a juvenile female whose name has not been released due to her age.
Ramos was charged with Petit Larceny (PL 155.25) and was released with an appearance ticket to return to court at a later date. The juvenile was issued appearance tickets for Family Court proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
