(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown man was arrested Sunday night after allegedly damaging property during a domestic disturbance on the city’s Eastside.

On July 6, 2025, at approximately 11:03 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 3rd Platoon responded to a reported domestic incident at a residence on the Eastside of Jamestown.

According to police, 25-year-old Fernando Mojica Reyes was identified as the suspect in the incident. Reyes is accused of damaging two televisions belonging to a female victim during a domestic disturbance. Authorities say he fled the scene before officers arrived but was located shortly thereafter.

Reyes was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, a class A misdemeanor under New York State law. He is currently being held at the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
