Tylyr Tingue Charged with Assault and Child Endangerment in Cattaraugus County

(WNY News Now) – ASHFORD, N.Y. — A 43-year-old Ashford resident was arrested on multiple charges following a domestic incident late on the night of July 2, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to a report of a domestic disturbance around 11:00 p.m. on Route 240 in the Town of Ashford. Following an investigation, Tylyr N. Tingue was arrested and charged with Assault in the Third Degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

According to the sheriff’s office, the investigation determined that Tingue allegedly struck a juvenile during the incident, resulting in injuries.

Tingue was processed and is scheduled to appear in Ashford Town Court at a later date. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
