(WNY News Now) – A 37-year old Jamestown man was taken into custody by Jamestown Police after being found hiding in a Northside home, violating an active order of protection.

On July 8, 2025, at approximately 10:45 a.m., Jamestown Police detectives assisting Child Protective Services at a residence on the Northside discovered Christopher Calhoun, 37, hiding in the attic. Calhoun, a Jamestown resident, was found to be in violation of an existing order of protection.

Following the discovery, Calhoun was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt in the second degree. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and is being held pending arraignment at Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
