(WNY News Now) – A northside Jamestown woman was arrested after allegedly exposing herself during a neighbor dispute and briefly refusing to comply with officers.

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – A neighbor dispute on Jamestown’s north side led to the arrest of a local woman on Wednesday afternoon, July 9, 2025.

At approximately 1:10 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s first platoon responded to a reported disturbance between neighbors. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the involved parties and determined that 47-year-old Margaret A. Connolly had allegedly exposed herself to a neighbor during the confrontation.

As officers attempted to take Connolly into custody, she reportedly retreated into her residence and locked the door, refusing to communicate or come outside. After a brief standoff, Connolly eventually exited the home and was taken into custody without further incident.

She was charged with Public Lewdness and Obstructing Governmental Administration in the Second Degree. Connolly was held in the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
