(WNY News Now) – The serene shores of Lake Erie will come alive with the sounds of classic rock this Wednesday as the beloved local trio Zen City takes the stage from 6 to 8 p.m. at Point Gratiot, launching another vibrant night of Music at the Point.
DUNKIRK, NY: This Wednesday’s live Music at the Point will feature Zen City from 6 to 8 p.m. at Point Gratiot. The event is sponsored by Southern Tier Environments for Living, Inc. (STEL) and Lawley Insurance.
Zen City is a classic oldies trio consisting of Bill Sutton (vocals, guitar), Ben Bennice (bass) and Craig Johnson (drums). Hailing from Dunkirk, they have been together for 12 years.
Other upcoming performances to include the following dates/bands: July 23 – The Trend, July 30 – FootSteps, August 6 – The Freeze, August 13 (Lawley V.I.P. Night) – The Living Room Jam Band, August 20 – Tim Britt and Evan Laedke and August 27 (STEL V.I.P. Night) – School of Rock House Band.
Visitors are reminded to bring a chair, snacks and refreshments and enjoy the sunsets and music at Point Gratiot.
A special thanks goes out to Rick Blaszyk of Atlas Comfort Cabins and Enviro-Kleen Services for donating the use of the portable toilet located near the music pavilion.
