Deputies responded to an assault on Knight Street leading to the arrest of a 39-year-old local man.
(WNY News Now) – SILVER CREEK, NY – A Silver Creek man is facing charges after Chautauqua County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported assault on Knight Street on the evening of Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies arrived at the scene around 5:30 p.m. and conducted an investigation that led to the arrest of Daniel L. Ulrich, 39, of Silver Creek. Ulrich was charged with Assault in the Third Degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Ulrich was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to await arraignment through the Centralized Arraignment Process in the Town of Hanover Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
