(WNY News Now) – HANOVER, N.Y. – A Fairport woman is facing charges after deputies say she was driving while intoxicated during a traffic stop in the Town of Hanover on Saturday night.
According to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, deputies stopped a vehicle around 10:38 p.m. on August 16, 2025, near the intersection of Alleghany Road and Iola Drive after it allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign.
Deputies identified the driver as 33-year-old Kaylee E. Lamanna of Fairport, New York. Following an investigation, Lamanna was determined to be operating the vehicle while intoxicated.
She was transported for processing and later released with appearance tickets. Lamanna is scheduled to appear in Hanover Town Court at a later date to answer to charges of driving while intoxicated and failure to stop at a stop sign. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
