(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – A Jamestown man was arrested Saturday afternoon following a domestic dispute on the city’s east side that led to multiple charges, including criminal contempt.

According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the 2nd Platoon responded to a residence around 3:45 p.m. on August 16, 2025, for a reported domestic dispute. During the investigation, police determined that 21-year-old Cody A. DiDomenico had allegedly struck the victim in the face.

Authorities said the victim had an active order of protection against DiDomenico at the time of the incident. Police further reported that the dispute occurred in the presence of the victim’s child.

DiDomenico was located nearby shortly after the incident and was taken into custody without resistance. He was charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Harassment in the Second Degree.

He is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
