Deputies report traffic stop on Route 394 led to multiple charges
(WNY News Now) – CHAUTAUQUA COUNTY, N.Y. – A Middlefield, Ohio man was arrested Sunday evening following a traffic stop on Route 394, according to the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies said the incident occurred on August 17, 2025, around 9:30 p.m., when a vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation. The driver, identified as 23-year-old Marvin D. Troyer, was found to be operating an unregistered vehicle without a valid license.
Further investigation determined Troyer was allegedly driving while intoxicated. He was taken into custody and charged with DWI, DWAI, operating an unregistered motor vehicle, and unlicensed operation.
Troyer was processed and later released with appearance tickets for the Town of Chautauqua Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
