(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A Jamestown resident has been arrested following a domestic incident on the city’s west side that left one person injured.

On Thursday, September 25, 2025, at approximately 3:45 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon responded to a west side address for a reported assault. According to investigators, 32-year-old Austin A. Mancuso allegedly struck a victim, causing physical injury.

Mancuso was found on the property where the incident occurred. Police say he was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

He has been charged with Assault in the Third Degree and is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
