(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – The Jamestown Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred early Saturday morning, September 27, 2025, at a residence on Curtis Street, where a house party was underway.

Police reported the incident took place around 3:30 a.m. One individual was grazed by a bullet and sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators believe the dispute leading to the shooting began earlier at The Wine Cellar before continuing at the Curtis Street gathering. Authorities stated they are aware of the individuals involved and are focusing resources on addressing those connected to violent and reckless behavior.

The Jamestown Police Department is urging anyone who attended the party, or who may have information about the incident, to reach out. Tips can be submitted through the department’s Facebook page or by calling the confidential TIPS line at 716-483-8477.
