(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown man was taken into custody following a domestic dispute on the city’s north side that resulted in several criminal charges.
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – On October 8, 2025, at approximately 9:26 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department responded to a residence on the city’s north side for a reported domestic dispute.
According to police, the investigation determined that 25-year-old Darius T. Walker had damaged property belonging to the victim during the incident. Further investigation revealed that, in a prior incident, Walker allegedly applied pressure to the victim’s neck or throat while a small child was present.
Walker was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He was charged with Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, and Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation.
Police reported that Walker is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
