According to police, Rodriguez appeared highly intoxicated after reportedly consuming alcohol earlier in the evening at a local establishment. While in custody, she allegedly became combative and disorderly.

At about 11:24 p.m., officers say Rodriguez defecated and urinated on the floor of her jail cell, then attempted to kick the waste toward officers and spit at them.

Rodriguez was subsequently charged with Criminal Tampering in the Third Degree and is awaiting arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
