(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, NY — A Jamestown woman was arrested early Tuesday morning for allegedly driving while impaired by a combination of drugs and alcohol following multiple police responses to a west side residence.
According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the 3rd Platoon responded to a residence on the city’s west side around 3:40 a.m. on October 21, 2025, for a report of an unwanted person. Police said they had been called to the same address several times before, but the suspect had fled before officers arrived.
During the third response, officers were advised that the female suspect, described as having red and black hair, had just left the scene in a maroon Jeep. A patrol unit canvassed the surrounding area and soon located a vehicle and driver matching that description near Baker Street and Summit Avenue.
Police identified the driver as 35-year-old Leonela E. Rodriguez of Jamestown. Following an investigation, officers determined that Rodriguez was operating the vehicle while impaired by a combination of alcohol and drugs.

Rodriguez was taken into custody and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired (DWAI) by the combined influence of drugs and alcohol. She was also issued Uniform Traffic Tickets (UTTs) for related traffic infractions.
Rodriguez was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where she is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
Rodriguez had previously been arrested earlier this month after allegedly being involved in a fight at 7/11 in which she bit a victim. After being arrested and placed into custody at the Jamestown City Jail, she allegedly urinated and defecated in her cell and attempted to fling the waste at officers.
