(WNY News Now) – A Jamestown man was taken into custody Friday evening following a domestic dispute that resulted in a minor being injured, according to city police.
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — On October 10, 2025, at approximately 7:22 p.m., officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s Second Platoon responded to a residence on the east side of the city for a reported physical domestic incident.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with 23-year-old Brandon L. Adams of Jamestown. During their on-scene investigation, police determined that Adams had been involved in an altercation with a victim under the age of 17.
According to the report, Adams allegedly kicked a door during the dispute, which struck the victim and caused a hand injury. The victim’s condition was not disclosed by police.
Adams was taken into custody without further incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail. He was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and is currently being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
