(WNY News Now) – A Stockton woman was arrested early Wednesday morning following a reported physical altercation that led to a criminal obstruction charge.
STOCKTON, N.Y. — The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office responded to a residence in Stockton at approximately 2:54 a.m. on October 29, 2025, for a report of a physical altercation.
Following an investigation at the scene, deputies determined that 49-year-old Ingrid E. Collins, of Stockton, allegedly obstructed the breathing of another individual during the incident. Collins was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation in the Second Degree.
She was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail to participate in the county’s Centralized Arraignment Program. Authorities said Collins is scheduled to appear in the Town of Stockton Court at a later date to answer the charge. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
