(WNY News Now) – A 34-year-old Jamestown man is facing multiple charges after police said he stole an e-bike from a southside residence and was later accused of forcible touching while being processed at the Jamestown City Jail.

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A Jamestown man is being held pending arraignment following an investigation into a reported theft and an alleged incident that occurred while he was in police custody.

According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the Second Platoon responded to a larceny complaint at a southside address at approximately 3:54 p.m. on July 5. During the investigation, police determined that 34-year-old Tony L. Mosley allegedly stole an e-bike from the residence.

Mosley was later located by officers and taken into custody. He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he was initially charged with petit larceny.

Police said that at approximately 6:12 p.m., while officers were processing Mosley at the city jail and collecting his personal property, he allegedly touched the intimate parts of a female officer.

As a result of the alleged incident, Mosley was additionally charged with forcible touching.

He was held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

The charges are accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
