(WNY News Now) – Two Jamestown residents were arrested Sunday evening after police reported finding them inside a condemned residence on the city’s south side.

JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Officers with the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon arrested two people on July 5 after responding to a report involving a condemned residence on the south side of Jamestown.

Police said officers were dispatched to the property at approximately 6:32 p.m. Upon arrival, they located Michael P. Pacheco, 57, and Amy L. Robbins, 44, inside the residence, which was posted as unsafe for occupancy.

According to investigators, both individuals were taken into custody without incident and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

Pacheco and Robbins were each charged with Criminal Trespass in the Third Degree. They were held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

The charges are allegations, and both defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
