Update: Owen Taylor has been found.

(WNY News Now) – 89-year old Owen Taylor is missing from the 500 block of Dove St. in Dunkirk since July 25, 2026.

Dunkirk, N.Y. – Concerned family have reached out to WNY News Now to notify the public that 89-year old Owen Taylor has been missing from the 500 block of Dove St. in Dunkirk since July 25, 2026.

Owen Taylor is approximately 5’10” and weighs approximately 110 pounds. He is known to walk to his street corner for a daily walk. It is not known whether he left on foot or in a vehicle.

He has not displayed signs of any onset of dementia or Alzheimer’s, and his family described his absence as very uncharacteristic. He is in need of an oxygen machine.
