(WNY News Now) – A 25-year-old Jamestown woman was arrested early Saturday after police responded to a reported domestic dispute on the city’s west side.

Jamestown Police officers from the 3rd Platoon responded to a westside address at approximately 3:02 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 12, for a report of a domestic dispute.

According to police, officers learned at the scene that Tayshia M. Berg, 25, had assaulted a victim, causing an injury.

Berg was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail.

She was charged with third-degree assault and held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

The charge is an allegation, and Berg is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
