(WNY News Now) – A large commercial building fire at the Jamestown Macadam, Inc. Concrete Plant in Falconer prompted a multi-agency response Friday afternoon.
The Falconer Fire Department and multiple fire departments and first responders were dispatched around 1:26 p.m. Sept. 11 to 1946 New York Avenue for a reported large commercial building fire.
HazMat personnel also responded to the scene as firefighters worked to address the blaze.
At approximately 2:34 p.m., the Chautauqua County Fire Investigation Team was requested to conduct an origin and cause investigation.
Officials reported no injuries in connection with the fire. However, the building appears to be a complete loss.
The cause of the fire had not been determined as of the time of this report, and the investigation remains ongoing.
