(WNY News Now) – A 33-year-old Celoron resident has been charged after Town of Ellicott Police investigated allegations that a child was living in unsafe conditions.
Town of Ellicott Police announced that Tiffany M. Campbell, 33, of Celoron, was charged with one count of Endangering the Welfare of a Child following an investigation on Sept. 5, 2026.
According to police, officers responded to a separate incident at approximately 6 p.m. and continued their investigation at a residence in Celoron. During that investigation, authorities allege that Campbell failed to provide adequate housing for a child and that the child was living in deplorable and unsafe conditions.
Police issued Campbell an appearance ticket and released her pending further court proceedings.
Campbell is scheduled to appear in Town of Ellicott Court at a later date to answer the charge.
Authorities have not released additional details regarding the investigation. As with all criminal charges, the allegation is an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
