(WNY News Now) – A 19-year-old Jamestown man was arrested after police say he was found with four credit cards reported stolen during vehicle larcenies.

Jamestown Police arrested Conner A. Dale, 19, of Jamestown, on Sept. 11 after officers encountered him on East Fifth Street.

According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the First Platoon were patrolling the area around 8:59 a.m. when they observed Dale, who was wanted by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office on a felony warrant charging Grand Larceny and Criminal Possession of Stolen Property.

Police said Dale also had pending charges related to the alleged use of a stolen credit card at a Jamestown business on Sept. 10.

While taking Dale into custody on the outstanding warrant, officers allegedly found him in possession of four additional credit cards belonging to three separate victims. Police said the cards had been stolen during vehicle larcenies reported in the early morning hours of Sept. 11.

Dale was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and charged with Identity Theft in the Third Degree and five counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the Fourth Degree.

He was being held at the Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court.

The charges are allegations, and Dale is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
