(WNY News Now) – A 29-year-old Salamanca man was arrested Thursday morning on a bench warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Court, according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office.

SALAMANCA, N.Y. — Dillon J. Lichy, 29, was arrested on October 15, 2026, at approximately 11:18 a.m. at a Center Street Extension address in Salamanca.

Sheriff Eric A. Butler reported that Lichy was taken into custody on an active bench warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Court.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, Lichy was processed following his arrest and transported to the Cattaraugus County Jail, where he is being held pending further court proceedings. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
