Duo Allegedly Busted With Stolen Gun, Drugs Following Traffic Stop

CHAUTAUQUA – Two Corry PA residents are facing felony drug charges following a traffic stop in the Town of Chautauqua early Saturday morning.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office said that the driver of the vehicle, Jerry J. Roneker Jr., 42, was found with a stolen loaded handgun.

Deputies said the passenger, Lyndsey A. Sventek, 26, had an active felony warrant from Crawford County, PA.











After searching the car deputies said both were in possession of over 2 ounces of methamphetamine, a large quantity of MDMA and xanax pills, heroin, scales, packaging materials, and over $10,000 cash.

Roneker was charged with second-degree felony criminal possession controlled substance, third-degree felony criminal possession controlled substance 3rd degree, third-degree felony criminal possession weapon, fourth-degree felony criminal possession of stolen property, second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalid, failed to keep right and move from lane unsafely.

Sventek was charged with second-degree criminal possession controlled substance, third-degree criminal possession controlled substance, and second-degree criminally using drug paraphernalia.









Deputies said both were held at the Chautauqua County Jail without bail.

The investigation is continuing and further charges are expected.
