Man Charged After Allegedly Choking Woman

FRENCH CREEK – A Town of Sheridan man is charged after Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Deputies said he allegedly choked a woman during a physical altercation Saturday.

William E. Heald, 52, is charged with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation.

Deputies responded to a report of a physical altercation between two people at a residence on Camelot Drive.











Heald was taken into custody and transported to Chautauqua County Jail to await arraignment. Heald is set to appear in Town of French Creek Court at a later date.
