PAWTUCKET, RI – Scrabble’s dictionary is getting an update.
The board game added almost 3,000 new words, incorporating slang, gender identity and politics.
You can now challenge your “bae” to a game to share on “Instagram.” Other words include “mansplaining,” which earns a player 13 points.
“Shebagging,” which is when a woman places her bag on the seat beside her, earns 18 points.
The new additions join the existing 276,000 words in the official Scrabble words book.
