Local Law Enforcement, Applebee’s To Hold Fundraiser For WNY Special Olympics

LAKEWOOD – Members of local law enforcement, along with athletes from the Special Olympics, will be on hand to raise money for WNY Special Olympics during a Special Olympics Law and Order Event today from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Lakewood Applebee’s. 

The event occurs annually, and is held at the Applebee’s locations throughout Western New York.











Various members of local police departments and the local Applebee’s collected $1,123 in proceeds, last year, for the Special Olympics of Western New York.

The local location, which was one of 12 participants, collected the most for the second year in a row. In total, $7,556 was collected between all of the locations.
