Jamestown Man Arrested For Allegedly Yelling, Threatening People

JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown man was arrested after Jamestown Police said he was yelling at and threatening people in the area of 80 Sturges St. Monday evening.

Officers say DaJon M. Wilcher, no age given, was standing in the front yard of 80 Sturges St. yelling and threatening people passing by.

Police said the man was highly agitated and refused to leave the scene.











When officers attempted to take Wilcher into custody he reportedly became combative.

Wilcher was eventually arrested and taken to Jamestown City Jail.

Police said he is charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest and two counts of disorderly conduct.
