FALCONER – A 28-year-old woman was arrested Tuesday after allegedly fighting with police officers responding to a shoplifting at the Falconer Kwik Fill.

Town of Ellicott Police say Kayla Wiberg allegedly stole items from the gas station convenience store just after 11:30 p.m.

While officers were attempting to take Wiberg into custody they say she allegedly began to fight them.

Wiberg was taken to the Ellicott Police Station in Falconer, processed and released with an appearance ticket.

Officers say she will appear in the Town of Ellicott Court at a later date.
