JAMESTOWN – A Jamestown medical professional says the best way to bring the COVID-19 outbreak to an end is by producing and distributing a vaccine not just in the United States, but worldwide.
In an interview with WNYNewsNow’s Justin Gould on Thursday, Dr. Besty Kidder with the Chautauqua Center said the process to produce a vaccine is very complex and could take some time.
“I can’t imagine any of this happening before the next 18 to 24 months,” explained Dr. Kidder. “I think we need to get comfortable in our new normal, we have to get good at trying to live life in our new normal, and do as much job work that we can and practice new medicine in many ways, shapes and forms.”
