JAMESTOWN – Tim Hortons is celebrating Camp Day today, which will help benefit disadvantaged kids in the U.S. and Canada.

Blake Tarana, the owner of the Jamestown Tim Hortons chain, says the purchase of any hot or cold coffee goes to sending local kids to a Tim Hortons Foundation Camp.

He says the program has a major impact on area youth.

Community members can also make direct donations to the foundation at any Tim Hortons location.

Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 this year’s camp was held virtually, but next year officials are hopeful camp can be held in person.
