JAMESTOWN – Students at Jamestown’s Washington Middle School held their first choir rehearsals since March.

The school’s music teacher Marie Karbacka says the socially distanced practice is for their holiday concert, which will take place virtually this year.

She plans to record the carols and send them home with students.

“I will be making some soundtracks for the parents and family,” said Karbacka. “Hopefully that will be ready right before our winter holidays so they can enjoy it over the break.”

She says so far, the group has held two rehearsals in the school’s auditorium.
