
CARROLLTON – A Cattaraugus County man is facing several charges after New York State Police say he was busted with forged Licenses Plates, Inspection and Registration during a traffic stop over the weekend.
Troopers stopped 34-year-old Marshall Jacobs, of Steamburg, on South Nine Mile Road in the Town of Carrollton on Saturday.
Police say during an inspection of his vehicle they allegedly discovered two forged New York State Registration Plates, a forged inspection certificate and a 30-day temporary registration plate in Jacobs’ vehicle.
The man is charged with three counts of second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument.
He was arraigned in Cattaraugus County Court and remanded to the Cattaraugus County Jail pending a hearing in the case.
