Seven New COVID-19 Deaths Reported In Cattaraugus County

LITTLE VALLEY – Seven new deaths connected to COVID-19 were reported in Cattaraugus County today.

The Cattaraugus County Health Department says a 65-year-old man, 77-year-old man, 81-year-old man, 81-year-old woman, 86-year-old man, 87-year-old woman and 93-year-old woman all died from respiratory failure.

Since the outbreak began there have been 60 deaths linked to the virus in the county. This is the highest amount of deaths reported in a single day.











In the latest update, leaders also reported 59 new cases of the virus with 506 active.

Of the cases, 37 people are in the hospital with a seven-day average percent positivity rate of 9.5 percent.

To date, there have been 2,812 cases of the virus with 2,247 people recovering.
